We welcome everyone and anyone here at ACC. People of all backgrounds and beliefs are encouraged to come join us at one of our services.
You can expect a loving environment with fellowship, singing, prayer, communion and the sharing of God's word. There is no formal dress code.
We offer two contemporary worship services: one on Saturday night and one as our 2nd service on Sunday. Contemporary music is primarily used. Some weeks that might entail a full band with drums, electric guitar, keyboard and vocalists. In other weeks the contemporary music may be brought by only one or two in the worship team. At present we are using various talent both from within our congregation and many from other churches. Using a different worship leader every week is now the "norm" in such mega churches such as Real Life in Clermont.
The service held at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning is more traditional by design. In the past it was 100% hymn based; however, at present we are introducing contemporary music without the drums or solid body electric guitar to make this service blended. Contemporary worship leaders such as Chris Tomlin and others have incredible newer music, some which blends the old with the new! We encourage our senior saints to get to know the music their kids and grand-kids are worshiping with. We are incredibly proud of how our senior members have embraced this recent change.
We offer communion at every weekend service in keeping with the practice of the early Christians in the Book of Acts. The message from God's word each weekend is designed to inspire you and to help you understand more deeply who God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are and how we should obey what the scriptures teach us. ACC's mission statement is actually Christ's "commission" to each believer in Matthew 28:19-20 to go make disciples, baptize them and teach them to obey what Christ commanded! Let the Bible speak is a hallmark of the "Christian Church" movement also known as the Stone-Campbell or Restoration Movement - to restore the church to what we see in the Book of Acts.
